Cumberland Con 2025

What?

Cumberland Con 2025, Somerset’s premier paranormal and comic book convention, happening Saturday, October 4th 10am - 6pm at The Center for Rural Development.

This year’s convention brings horror and paranormal fans something special, with a guest appearance by Ari Lehman, the original Jason Voorhees from the classic film Friday the 13th, which is celebrating its 45th anniversary. VIP ticket holders will enjoy an exclusive screening of Friday the 13th followed by a Q&A session with Ari himself. A limited number of tickets for the screening and Q&A will also be available separately for general admission attendees.

We’re also excited to welcome Geraldine Sutton Stith, daughter of one of the eyewitnesses in the famous 1955 Hopkinsville Goblins encounter—one of Kentucky’s most iconic and mysterious paranormal events, now marking its 70th anniversary. Geraldine will be sharing the story, discussing the history behind the case, and connecting with fans throughout the day.

Cumberland Con will feature a full lineup of vendors, creators, and artists, along with panels throughout the day in the theater. Cosplay fans can look forward to both adult and children’s costume contests, with plenty of opportunities to show off their creativity.
